Regina Folk Festival
is celebrating 50 years this summer! We think that no summer is complete without a music festival, and from August 9-11, you can check out amazing live music acts and other fun activities at the Folk Festival in Victoria Park.
This year’s headliners include Blue Rodeo, A Tribe Called Red, and Jason Isbell, plus performances by Bahamas, Ruth B, Charlotte Day Wilson, and many more. Beyond the main evening acts, there are also free daytime performances that anyone can check out and enjoy! Each year, there have also been amazing food vendors, where you can satisfy your appetite and support Regina’s local food scene. Previous years’ food vendors have included Afghan Cuisine, Bon Burger, Selam Ethiopian Restaurant, and many more. You can also browse through the lineup of other local vendors selling gifts and crafts such as jewellery, accessories, personal care products, and more. And of course, this is also a great chance to buy some of your favourite performers’ unique merchandise at the festival merch tent. Other attractions include not one but two beer gardens, a children’s stage, and a children’s activity area. This is truly an event that people of any age can enjoy!
Weekend passes to the Regina Folk Festival are $148 or you can purchase an individual night ticket for just $70. Attendees 12 years old and under get in for free, so why not bring along the whole family! This event attracts over 35000 visitors each year, and we are so excited to welcome this year’s attendees, performers, and staff this summer. Home Suites Regina East is
conveniently located just a 10 minute drive away from the festival grounds at Victoria Park
, or about half an hour away by public transit.
