Summer’s nearly over, but that’s no reason to be sad. Fall is beautiful in its own right, and has plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the outdoors. If you’re looking to take a short trip to find the best of the fall, come to Regina to see some of our favourite outdoor places to take in the crisp September air! You probably won’t need your scarf, but might as well bring it anyway – after all, you look fabulous in it.

Nestled in the heart of Regina, Kiwanis Waterfall Park is a gorgeous green space with beautifully cared-for trees, lush green grass, and best of all, a tumbling man-made waterfall in the center of the park! A favourite backdrop for wedding photos and graduation photos, this is a great place to go for a soothing walk, a picnic, or just sit somewhere serene and beautiful.

The home of many of Regina’s most exciting tourist destinations, including the Provincial Legislative building, the Conexus Arts Centre, the Science Centre, the museum and more. Wascana View Park is worth a visit in its own right! Kilometres of paved walking paths weave around green spaces and a beautiful lake, making for great views! It’s a great way to go for a walk in the fresh, open air and enjoy the sites!

Home to a great playground, AE Wilson Park is a truly stunning prairie landscape. See ducks, Canadian Geese, and great grass fields surrounded by dense trees and foliage! It’s truly stunning at sunset when the sun peeks through the fronds of the lake.

Beautiful gardens tended by Saskatchewan’s most gifted gardeners, the Floral Conservatory is a fantastic reminder of just how stunning nature can be! Go for a tour in these open-air spaces and take notes for what you can accomplish in your garden at home!
