There’s no better way to enjoy the autumn than to explore your own backyard. Regina has tons to offer in and outside the city, so take the upcoming months to plan a staycation and explore local!
Enjoy the peak of the harvest season at the last couple of remaining farmers’ markets! The Regina Farmers Market is an open air market that runs weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays at City Square Plaza. Head on over to Scarth Street from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to have your pick of local produce and goods before the Regina Farmers Market wraps up for the season on October 10.
Trade in a walk in Regina for a walk in a corn maze. For $10, you can explore the in’s and out’s of Cedar Creek Gardens’ corn maze just two minutes south of Regina and check this fall tradition off your bucket list. According to Cedar Creek Gardens, the maze takes approximately 45 minutes to complete - so bundle up and bring your brightest friends! The maze is only up until October 12, so buy your corn maze tickets online and enjoy the fall fun while it lasts!
While the autumn weather lasts, enjoy supper in the orchard at Over the Hill Orchards and Winery. Until October 10 (Thanksgiving weekend), the Over the Hill Orchards will have a different local chef to create a multi-course supper using ingredients sourced from local farms and the orchard on-site. The supper costs $70 per person and you can purchase Supper in the Orchard tickets online. Experience a unique culinary experience on the last remaining days: Sept. 25 and 26, and October 3, 4, 9 and 10.
