Big Wreck is performing at the Brandt Centre as part of the upcoming Frost Regina winter festival taking place on February 4. The alternative rock Canadian-American band is one of Canada’s most successful touring and recording artists, perhaps best known for ‘90s hits “The Oaf” and “That Song.” They released their latest EP, Big Wreck 7.1, in late 2021.
Sarah Slean
Singer-songwriter Sarah Slean pays homage to Joni Mitchell at this tribute concert on February 12 at the Conexus Arts Centre. With her poetic, cabaret-like delivery and backed by a full orchestra and Maestro Gerrard, Slean’s take on Mitchell promises to be one not to miss.
Blue Rodeo
Canadian rock-country stalwarts Blue Rodeo are set to perform at the Capital Auto Theatre on February 24. With classics like 1987’s “Try” and achievements like the Order of Canada, an induction in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, and over 30 JUNO Award wins and nominations under their belt, the band is undeniably one of the country’s most iconic. Their 16th studio album, Many a Mile, was released in December.
